The recent workshop with Monica & Michael at their studio in Williamsburg was phenomenal. Their expertise and willingness to share it is intoxicating & exciting. They shared their studio set up, imparted innumerable tips & tricks of the trade, their marketing & selling protocols & on top of that, made the experience pleasant & memorable.
We went on a live shoot which was also very instructive & I learned more about lighting that could have hoped; where to find it, how to use it, how best to position your clients for optimal results & the fact that even in a cloudy day, you can find beautiful light. Not to mention how to maximize your light with reflectors & do away with strobes in lots of situations.
Needless to say, I highly recommend this workshop & will gladly attend another one.

TESSA SATAKE?
I just wanted to tell you how absolutely priceless these workshops have been to me. I missed the first two live but have watched the replays and the farther we get into these videos the more AHA moments are happening for me.
I just want you to know that after 13 years being a photographer there's a lot of crappy education out there and what you and Michael are offering is outstanding and sound advice I wish every photographer could listen to and if they did, it would raise the bar for professional photography in extraordinary ways.
